Patina Maldives, located in the Fari Islands, has been awarded Five Stars in the 2024 Forbes Travel Guide, one of the highest distinctions in global hospitality. This accolade affirms the resort’s position as a benchmark for modern, design-led luxury in the Maldives and beyond.
Warisan is proud to have been a partner in bringing this vision to life, supplying custom furniture across the entire property. From the intimate guestrooms to expansive outdoor lounges and signature public spaces, every piece was handcrafted to complement Patina’s minimalist architecture and refined material palette.
The project was delivered in close collaboration with Brazilian studio MK27, led by Marcio Kogan, whose celebrated design ethos blends modern simplicity with environmental awareness. Warisan’s role encompassed full-scope delivery, from concept detailing to final installation, ensuring that each furnishing aligned seamlessly with MK27’s vision of understated elegance in harmony with nature.
Crafted at Warisan’s fully owned facility in East Java, the furniture reflects the company’s hallmark combination of artisanal skill, material integrity, and international-scale production. Sustainably sourced teak and other durable hardwoods were employed throughout, balancing longevity with a sensitivity to the resort’s island setting.
The Forbes recognition underscores Patina Maldives’ commitment to exceptional guest experience and, by extension, highlights Warisan’s contribution to award-winning destinations across the globe. From Asia to the Americas, the company’s presence in landmark projects continues to reflect its trusted reputation for delivering design integrity and uncompromising quality.
Warisan is honored to see its craftsmanship play a part in Patina Maldives’ success story, and to support one of the world’s most lauded new resorts in setting fresh standards for hospitality and design.
